Introduction

This guide will help declarants register on the Bangladesh Single Window (BSW) portal, detailing each step of the registration process.

Overview

The BSW portal is a comprehensive platform designed to facilitate and streamline trade processes. This document covers the necessary steps to register as a declarant on the BSW portal.

Homepage of BSW Portal

1. Access the Portal

   • Open your web browser and enter the URL: https://www.bswnbr.gov.bd.
   • You will be directed to the homepage of the BSW application.

2. Language Selection

   • The portal is available in both Bangla and English. You can switch languages as needed by clicking the language selection option.

Creating an Account

1. Navigate to Account Creation
   • Click on the "Create Account" tab on the homepage. This will open the registration interface.

Registration Process in BSW Portal

The registration process involves five main steps:

1. Step 1: Select Organization Type

   • Choose the type of organization you are representing (Declarants).
   • Click the right arrow to proceed.

2. Step 2: Submit Business Identification Number (BIN)

   • Enter a valid Business Identification Number (BIN) issued by the NBR.
   • Click the right arrow to continue.

3. Step 3: OTP Verification

   • An OTP will be sent to the phone number associated with your BIN.
   • Enter the OTP to verify your identity.

4. Step 4: Company Information

   • Ensure the company information displayed matches the data from the IVAS system.
   • You can upload your company logo if available.
   • Click the right arrow to proceed.

5. Step 5: Owner Information

   • Fill in the required details for the owner:
     • First Name (auto-suggested)
     • Last Name (auto-suggested)
     • Rank/Designated Position
     • Upload a picture
     • Valid email address
     • Valid phone number
     • Identification number (NID/Passport)
     • Service Number/ID Number (optional)
   • Click the right arrow to proceed.

6. Review and Confirm Information

   • Review all the entered information.
   • If any details need correction, use the left arrow to edit.
   • Read and agree to the Terms and Conditions.
   • Click "Register" to finalize the registration.

7. Email Verification

   • After completing the registration, you will receive an email with a verification link.
   • Click the link to set your password. Your password must:
     • Contain both upper- and lower-case letters.
     • Include alpha and numeric characters.
     • Be at least 8 characters long.
     • Not have leading or trailing spaces.
     • Not be the same as your Username, User ID, or email address.
     • Include at least one special character.

By following these steps, declarants can successfully register on the Bangladesh Single Window (BSW) portal, facilitating their business activities within the regulatory framework.
